COSTES RESTAURANT

Costes Restaurant is currently one of the best restaurants in Hungary.

Its story started back in 2007 when the owners decided to transform the old Costes restaurant into what you see today – a leading light in international cuisine.

Before reopening Costes, the owners searched Europe high and low for the continent’s best suppliers, while the restaurant staff underwent rigorous training in France.

In 2008 Costes took on Executive Chef Miguel Rocha Vieira – who once graced the kitchens of El Bulli – and with the help of two Michelin-starred chef Francois Rodolphe, a world-class restaurant was born.

The passion and commitment of both owners and staff brought rapid success. In March 2010 Costes Restaurant received a star in the ‘Main Cities of Europe’ Michelin Guide, becoming the first Hungarian restaurant to receive such an honor and only the second in the Central European region. Costes retained its star in the 2011 Michelin Guide, and continues to win local and international awards. The Austrian Gault Millau Guide recently awarded Costes 17 points, while the prestigious Alexandra Guide has ranked Costes the number one restaurant in Hungary for two successive years.

Stylish and elegant, Costes Restaurant is all about forgetting the outside world for a couple of hours. With no dress code, Costes offers a relaxed setting for you to enjoy top international cuisine with some delectable Hungarian touches. The service is flawless and friendly, and dishes are prepared with the finest fresh ingredients. Guest satisfaction is the number one priority at Costes and the team prides itself on giving an exceptional experience to everyone who walks through the door.
